Ironman European Championship Frankfurt (ALL) Ce week-end se disputaient à Francfort les championnats d'Europe de triathlon distance Ironman (3,8km/180km/42,2km). La présence du vent (25-30km/h env.) sur la deuxième partie du parcours vélo ainsi que la forte chaleur (30°C à l'ombre env.) sur le parcours marathon ont rendu l'épreuve éprouvante pour beaucoup. Cinq triathlètes du STC avaient fait le déplacement: Dominique Kern s'est classé 1522ème en 12h03'34", Stéphane Eschenbrenner 1691ème en 12h27'05", Déborah Musseleck 2106ème en 13h35'23", Pierre Pierro 2287ème en 14h23'55" et Jonathan Mallick 2380ème en 14h53'31" sur 2388 finishers (10% d'abandons environ).
